With a well educated, highly skilled, English-speaking workforce that can give quality results at lower costs and formidable reputation in IT, India is in a vantage position(India Today May 2002) · In the next decade, more than 40% of all new pharmaceuticals will be developed through biotech, accounting for over $100 billion in annual sales.(India Today May 2002) · As per Assocham (Associated Chamber of Commerce & Industry), the biotech industry is valued at $2.5 billion and expected to grow to $ 3 billion by the end of 2002.
